Anja Geitmann

Dr. Geitmann is the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and Associate Vice-Principal (Macdonald Campus) of McGill University, Montreal, Quebec.

A plant biologist by training, she oversees McGill’s research activities and teaching mandates in plant and animal science, food science and human nutrition, environmental sciences, and bioresource engineering.

Her 2015 appointment as dean follows 14 years as Professor at the Department of Biological Sciences of the Université de Montréal and an international academic trajectory including The Netherlands, Italy, USA, Sweden and Germany.
