David Dzisiak

David Dzisiak (B.Sc. Agriculture) grew up on a family grain farm in Dauphin, Manitoba. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BSc. in Agriculture. He enjoyed a 35-year career with Dow AgroSciences/Corteva, with experiences in commercial leadership and global business unit management, working across the ag/food value chain. He helped shape the company’s plant genetics and value-added traits strategy in grains and oilseeds.

David served on the Board and as Chair of the Canola Council of Canada. He was deeply involved in the original design of Protein Industries Canada as a founding director. Today, he is engaged in advisory work with start-up companies in the ag biotechnology, renewable fuel, and plant protein processing areas.

David resides with his family in Calgary, Alberta.
