As the commercial Grains and Oils Leader for North America, Tyler serves on the Canadian Leadership Team and is responsible for the development and commercialization of output traits in cereals and oilseeds that will create new value for farmers and food chain stakeholders.
Tyler has spent his entire 25-year-career with Legacy Corteva Organizations and has extensive expertise in crop protection, seeds, traits, oils, and export trade. He is a strong business development professional skilled in complex account management, marketing, sales, business planning, people leadership and international business. He holds an Executive MBA from the Alberta Haskayne School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary.
Tyler grew up on his family farm in Blackie, Alberta where they operate a mixed farm operation consisting of canola, cereals, and livestock.
He is actively involved in his children’s’ activities, is an Okotoks minor hockey coach, and enjoys playing hockey and golf in his spare time.
