Dori Gingera-Beauchemin

Dori was born and raised in rural Manitoba and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. During her 44-year career with the Manitoba Department of Agriculture, she held positions reflecting the diverse aspects of the agriculture and food industry, including youth and rural development, food research and commercialization, policy, federal-provincial relations, marketing and trade, farm and business risk management and environmental sustainability.

Following her retirement in 2023 as Deputy Minister, Dori joined organizations that reflect her interest area, including Protein Industries Canada, Protein Manitoba, Farmers Abroad Canada and Canadian Agri-food Policy Institute. Dori was inducted into the Canadian Agriculture Hall of Fame in November 2025. Dori and her husband Paul own and operate the family farm located south of Winnipeg.
