Kathryn Bulmer Matheson
Kathryn Matheson is a senior food industry executive with nearly 30 years of experience at PepsiCo, where she most recently led global R&D platforms, setting strategies, programs, and plans to drive long-term transformation and growth across the PepsiCo Foods portfolio. With a focus on consumer-centric experiences, she partnered across the value chain, from seed to nutrition, packaging, and the consumer journey, to advance innovation, drive growth, and support a more sustainable food system.
Over the course of her career, Kathryn has successfully led global brands and innovation platforms, including Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, and Quaker, while also supporting the growth of Canadian businesses such as Miss Vickie’s and Quaker Crispy Minis.
Kathryn held a range of senior leadership roles across Research & Development, Innovation, Marketing, Sales, and General Management in both Canada and the United States. She has also served on several Canadian industry association boards and has been recognized by Canadian Grocer with a Star Women Award for her contributions to the Canadian grocery industry.
Prior to PepsiCo, Kathryn held roles in the consumer-packaged goods sector. She is a graduate of the School of Business at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
