Protein Industries Canada is currently recruiting for its Board of Directors. Nominations for the one (1) position are currently being accepted.
Currently, six directors will let their name stand for a second three-year term – three Industry directors, and three Independent directors. Protein Industries Canada will have one vacant Industry director board position. All positions will be voted in at the Annual General Meeting.
Protein Industries Canada’s AGM will be held in Winnipeg, MB, on September 14, 2022. Voting will occur both in-person and online.
Committed to ensuring a skills-based board, Protein Industries Canada is currently seeking nominations for Industry board members that would bring experience and expertise in:
- Global experience in the food processing sector;
- Firm scale-up and growth;
- Plant-based food and ingredient innovation;
- Sustainability and de-carbonization of food systems;
- Inclusive economic growth.
Interested candidates who have strengths in other areas, including data and intellectual property management, primary agriculture, infrastructure development or other areas may also be considered.
To let your name stand for the Board of Directors you must:
- Be a Member of Protein Industries Canada in good standing;
- Be authorized to represent your organization;
- Fill out the nomination papers and have it signed by two (2) other Protein Industries Canada members; and
- Submit your completed nomination paper to deidre@proteinsupercluster.ca.
Nominations must be received by July 30, 2022.
