Beena Goldenberg

Beena Goldenberg is a senior corporate director and former public-company CEO with more than two decades of leadership experience across consumer-packaged goods, regulated industries, and high-growth organizations. She has led three companies: Organigram Global, a NASDAQ- and TSX-listed cannabis company; Supreme Cannabis Company; and Hain Celestial Canada, a leading natural and organic CPG platform. Throughout her career, she has led transformative M&A, successful exits, capital investment, regulatory navigation, and sustained revenue growth.

Beena is a board director of BMC Ingredients and Portland Plant Foods, two private scale-up companies. At Sol Cuisine, a TSX-listed meatalternative company, she provided oversight of strategy, innovation, and strategic options. She has served as Chair and Vice Chair of Food and Consumer Products of Canada and as founding Chair of Plant-Based Foods of Canada. Her governance experience also includes public affairs policy committees, participation in a government led ISED forum and advisory boards focused on stewardship, risk management, and stakeholder accountability.

Beena holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from McGill University. She earned her ICD.D designation through University of Toronto, Rotman school of Management.
