
Kathryn Bulmer Matheson
In this role, Kathryn leads R&D platforms in setting global strategies, programs and plans to deliver long term transformation and growth across the PepsiCo Foods portfolio. Currently focused on PepsiCo foods sustainability, she works with partners to develop strategies from seed through packaging to consumption to fuel the innovation pipeline with consumer winning products, while supporting a more sustainable food system. She has successfully led PepsiCo global brands and technical platforms including Lay’s potato chips, Doritos tortilla chips, Cheetos cheese snacks, and Quaker oats, cereals and bars as well as nurturing local homegrown Canadian businesses such as Miss Vickies potato chips and Quaker Crispy Minis rice chips.
Having spent the majority of her career with PepsiCo, Kathryn has held leadership positions in Research & Development, Innovation, Marketing, Sales and General Management in both Canada and the USA. She has served on several Canadian industry association boards. In 2016 Canadian Grocer recognized her with a ‘Star Women Award’ for her contributions to the Canadian grocery industry.
Prior to PepsiCo, Kathryn held positions in the consumer-packaged goods industry. She is a graduate of the School of Business, Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Kathryn is a very proud mother to her daughter. In her spare time, Kathryn enjoys travel, photography, and all things culinary, gardens and golf.
