Protein Industries Canada announces Board leadership updates

Effective January 1, 2026, David Dzisiak has assumed the role of Chair of the Board of Directors, with Annette Revet transitioning to the role of Vice-Chair. In addition, Graham Markham will serve as Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee, while Dave Donnan will continue in his role as Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee.
These changes support continuity, stability and strong governance as the organization continues to advance Canada’s ingredient processing and food manufacturing sector.
“Canada has a generational opportunity to strengthen its leadership in food production and ingredient manufacturing,” Dzisiak said. “Protein Industries Canada plays a critical role in turning that opportunity into reality — by bringing industry, innovators, and government together to scale Canadian ideas, create new value at home, and help Canada achieve its goal of growing and diversifying our economy. I’m honoured to step into this role and excited about what we can achieve together.”
Protein Industries Canada thanks Annette Revet for her leadership as Acting Chair of the Board, and her time as a board member. Annette was an inaugural board member for Protein Industries Canada, serving as Chair of Governance and Nominating, and later stepping in as Acting Chair. Her term on the Board will conclude at the organization’s Annual General Meeting in September 2026. This planned transition allows the executive team to continue to benefit from her experience and guidance over the coming months.
