Call for nominations: Join the Board of Directors of Protein Industries Canada

Posted:

Nominations are closed as of July 31, 2025.

Protein Industries Canada is currently seeking nominations for one open position on our Board of Directors. This role represents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Canada’s plant-based food, feed, and ingredient sector—an industry poised for transformative growth.

As we enter the next phase of our journey and advance The Road to $25 Billion, we are looking for a senior leader who brings:

  • Visionary leadership and a deep passion for the future of Canada’s agri-food sector;
  • A track record of building support for bold strategies and mobilizing stakeholders toward shared goals;
  • The ability to meet with key decision-makers and speak confidently with business and policy leaders;
  • Senior-level experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, ingredient processing, or financial services.

The ideal candidate is a respected voice in the industry—someone with CEO or executive-level experience who is vested in the long-term growth and success of Canada’s value-added agriculture sector.

This individual will play a key role in advancing Protein Industries Canada’s mandate and strengthening our position as a national leader in innovation, sustainability, and economic development.

Nominations are now open, and a recommended slate will be voted on by the membership at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in September. We invite passionate, purpose-driven leaders from across Canada to consider putting their name forward—or to nominate someone who fits this vision.
